# Node Peering
> Peer your own Hyperliquid node with Hypedexer's nodes: pricing per whitelisted IP, with discounted rates on paid plans.
Running your own Hyperliquid node is only as reliable as the peers it connects to. **Node peering** gives your node a guaranteed peer on our infrastructure: you give us the public IP of your node, we whitelist it, and your node peers directly with ours for fast, stable sync and gossip.
## Who it's for
Anyone running their own Hyperliquid node who needs a **stable, reliable connection** to the network: whatever the node is used for. Trading infrastructure, monitoring, an in-house indexer: peering is about your node's connectivity, not about what you do with the data it gives you.
Need Hyperliquid data but not a node of your own? The [REST and WebSocket APIs](/guides/rate-limits-and-quotas) serve it directly: no node, no peering required.
## Pricing
Peering is billed **per whitelisted IP, per month, in USDC**. Rates depend on your Hypedexer subscription: the higher your plan, the more IPs are included and the cheaper each additional one is.

Discounted rates require an **active subscription** on the corresponding plan: see [Rate Limits & Pricing](/guides/rate-limits-and-quotas).

Included IPs are per account, not per node: a Scale subscriber with 5 nodes pays nothing for peering, and only pays from the 6th IP onwards.
## Getting set up
Peering is provisioned manually. To request it, send us:
* The **public IP address** of each node you want peered
* The **account or API key** your subscription is attached to, so the right rate applies
We confirm once the IPs are whitelisted.
